I've had this power strip in use for about 14 months now and it has saved me so much time and work. I use this on a remote mountain top to monitor some wireless equipment. Sometimes equipment goes down and you have to reboot it. Without a power strip like this, that's a trip in the 4x4 to get up the mountain.
You can assign each of the eight outlets a friendly name so it's easy to remember which device you have plugged into it. Each outlet can ping a different IP address, and after a user-configurable amount of time with no response, it will reboot the outlet. The outlets can be assigned to two different groups if needed. In order to get temperature readouts it does require an optional probe not included.
I've never had any problems with it at all, and am so happy with it I just ordered another one for a second mountain top.

Does what it should at a competitive price--similar units
cost twice as much.
However the current meter for the unit we received is
inaccurate, particularly at low draw after several outlets are
turned off. Showed a PC burning about 1.5 amps as eating 4.5.
Confirmed this via the UPS.
Should mention we're not using the fancier features such
as "auto ping" reboots etc. Just basic on/off.
So if you care about accurate power readings, go for a more
expensive unit. Otherwise this one is a good value.

Simple, Cheap and Cheerful.
Need a remote switch with some individual control? This is the unit.
If you need a more comprehensive device -- check the website for the higher end units.
