UEi Test Instruments designed the C75 as a compact, easy-to-use tool that helps professionals reduce carbon-based fuel heating costs. The C75 Combustion Efficiency Analyzer measures flue-pipe emissions in real time and allows the user to tune the boiler or furnace to the optimum air/fuel combination that increases efficiency and reduces fuel costs. The UEi C75 is pre-programmed to work with Natural Gas, Butane, Propane, LPG, and Light Oil. The UEi C75 can also be used to check levels of potentially lethal Carbon Monoxide (CO). UEi’s familiar DMM-style user interface makes the UEi C75 easy to use without the need for complicated manuals or on-screen menus. Designed for real-world applications, the UEi C75 includes back-lit 4-line LCD display, worklight, protective rubber boot, integral magnet for hands-free operation, easy-to-drain protective water trap, easy-to-replace particle filter, and detachable flue probe. The UEi C75 measures temperature, oxygen (O2), and Carbon Monoxide (CO). The UEi C75 calculates Carbon Dioxide (CO2), CO/CO2 ratio and efficiency. The UEi C75 also include the option to download data to a printer for permanent record storage. UEi recommends annual calibration of the C75 to confirm product functionality and to restore the unit to its original specification. I bought this unit and tried to use it on 90+ furnaces and it would not read gross efficiency. That means that it wouldn't calculate the water vapor part of the equation. A call to the tech. department confirmed this! Buy the 2x c155 instead.
